Data Controller: The School (the Client) determines the purpose of the filming and manages individual consents.
Data Processor: Social Impact Media Group Ltd processes the footage strictly according to the School's instructions.
2. Data We Collect
We process visual and audio data (video/photos), names for captions, and contact information for school staff (names, emails, and phone numbers) to facilitate project delivery.
3. Data Security
Encryption: All footage is stored on encrypted, password-protected hardware and secure UK-based cloud storage.
Confidentiality: Our team is trained in safeguarding and will never share footage with third parties without express written permission from the School.
4. Data Retention
Raw Footage: We typically retain raw project files for 12 months post-delivery to facilitate future updates. After this period, files are securely deleted.
Final Edits: We retain copies of delivered videos for our records and portfolio (subject to consent) unless the School requests deletion.
5. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, individuals have rights regarding their personal data, including the right to access or request deletion. Such requests should be directed to the School in the first instance.
